Since 1843, six different United States Navy vessels have been named after Princeton, NJ, the site of a crucial American victory during the revolutionary war. This mens mid-thigh length double-breasted Peacoat commemorates Princeton number 5, an Essex-class aircraft carrier laid down in 1943 that served in the Korean and Vietnam wars until its retirement in 1970. The shell fabric is a 24 ounce high count wool blend. The 8 anchor buttons are heavy duty antiqued die-cast metal, and the interior features 2 pockets and a cotton commemorative lining. Imported. We are currently taking orders for a September delivery. Manufactured by Schott Brothers NYC.
